<p>I have thought purple would be good. When do you see this colour on Wiki's? Isnt it eyecatching. Doesnt it just irritate your eyes and give you a headache?

<p>It's a little dark, but it hardly affects me at all, as I first joined Wikia in 2008 or something. I still use the Monobook skin for the most part, as I never got used to the default Wikia skin. Everything looks totally different in between the two skins. Occasionally I have to do something that requires me to sign into the Wikia skin so that's the only time I see it.

<p>Yeah, there isn't much point in using Monobook if you use Wikia. A lot of the newer features aren't supported by Monobook anyway.
