Family BASIC (Sometimes named Famicom BASIC) was developed by Nintendo, in conjunction with Hudson Soft and Sharp Corporation. It was released in 1985.
Gameplay[]
Family BASIC is not really a game, but rather software on a Famicom Cartridge. The Cartidge allows the users to use a dialect of the BASIC programming language, and to create programs and even homebrew games.
Programs can be saved with the Famicom Data Recorder.
