The Light Pen is a peripheral for the Vectrex. It was released in 1983, and was developed and released by General
Consumer Electronics.

The peripheral was compatible with Art Master, Melody Master and AnimAction.

Background Edit

The Light Pen was revolutionary for its time, as it allowed users to draw Vector Images on the display. The device worked by using a photo-detector that detects bright spots on the monitor and feeds internal pulse-catching circuits. The device however, due to the Video Game Crash of 1983, like its parent console was a failure.
